They had a lower quote than the other movers in the area and did a much better job. I have moved 4 times in the DMV area and this was the easiest move by far. The gentleman that wrapped and moved my stuff were quick and super nice. They helped me with getting everything to the right place when we got to our destination and even though they had to go us 3 flights of stairs they crushed it. Absolutely satisfied and I will used them again if I have to move.Mike"Fantastic work from the team at Spartan movers."

They were amazing! You should give them all raises, I am serious. I’m blown away by how professional, diligent, organized and thorough the crew was! Edwin and his team truly made my day. After weeks of preparation and pulling my hair out at the anguish of moving despite being bald, I can say with 100% confidence that this has been the easiest thing I’ve had to do. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

We had a wonderful experience with this company from start to finish! The entire process was seamless, professional, and affordable. Nick was incredibly easy to work with, responsive, and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Erick and the team did an amazing job handling the physical move; they were punctual, careful, efficient, and professional throughout the entire day. Sam also followed up afterward to check in and make sure everything went well, which was a great personal touch. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We are a military family so we know the good, the bad, and the ugly about moving companies. 11/10, HIGHLY recommend Spartan Movers!! They did a two-day, storage unit and house move for us and we could not be happier. Edwin and his team were very professional and beyond respectful. They took extra care to make sure our things and homes were handled gently. Not a single thing was damaged and they even went out of their way to help my husband out a few times when he needed an extra hand during the move. Sam was a pleasure to communicate with and she made sure we got what we needed for a proper PCS move. We love supporting local companies and will be recommending Spartan to anyone who needs moving services.

This was honestly one of the best service experiences we have had in a long time.Natalia P"One of the Best Service Experiences"
We were absolutely blown away by Spartan Movers and their exceptional service. Communication was easy and professional from the very beginning. Before the move, they met with us in person, reviewed everything we needed to move, provided a clear estimate, and carefully explained their approach and pricing. On moving day, the team arrived exactly at the agreed time and was incredibly organized, efficient, and unbelievably fast. I had even thought I would have time to finish packing a few additional things while they worked, but it honestly felt like I blinked and everything was already done! At the same time, they treated all of our belongings with great care. Every piece of furniture and our TV were packed extremely carefully, with close attention to preventing any scratches or damage. After unpacking and checking everything, we were very happy to see that all of our belongings had arrived safely and in perfect condition. Our team included Alex, Kevin, and Benny (our apologies if we misheard or misspelled anyone’s name). Everyone was professional, respectful, hardworking, friendly, and clearly very experienced. This was honestly one of the best service experiences we have had in a long time. We highly recommend Spartan Movers to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and professional moving company!

I wish I could give more than five stars, they were great to work with from my initial contact to the last box being moved in. After I put in the initial inquiry online, I was called within minutes. They were very helpful and patient with me as I tried to figure out what I needed. On the day of the move, Dennis and Eddie arrived on time, they called 30 min prior to let me know they were on their way. They were careful with my things while they packed the truck and equally careful as they unpacked. They were very polite and friendly the entire time. I’m sure I got in their way a few times, but they never acted like I was a problem. I would definitely recommend Spartan Movers with Dennis and Eddie to anybody!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Spartan Movers when moving out of my condo. Nick from the beginning was very transparent about pricing and asked a lot of details about my move that most moving companies don't. The team assigned to my move—Dennis, Kevin, and Alex—were absolutely amazing. They were professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. I even love how early they arrived to my condo and not wasting the day. Dennis was especially outstanding—he was very communicative from start to finish, kept me informed throughout the process, and made the whole move feel smooth and stress-free. Kevin and Alex were equally hardworking and respectful, and the three of them worked together seamlessly. Moving can be stressful and a headache, but Spartan Movers made it easy. We had a fantastic experience with Spartan Movers. Highly recommend Spartan Movers for your moving needs!Brenda Keys Beltran"We had a fantastic experience"
We had a fantastic experience with Spartan Movers. The whole process was seamless. Promptly got a quote, great communication prior to the move, movers showed up on time on moving day and were friendly and respectful. Followed instructions perfectly. Asked questions when they had any about how I wanted things. They were very careful with my belongings, protected my furniture well, and strategically packed my moving truck. I was doing a long distance move so they packed my truck for me and then gave me advice on how to best unpack it. (They also do long distance moves and gave a great price for full-service long distance move). After the long-distance move, all of our belongings had not shifted at all during the drive. We were very pleased for all of our belongings to arrive without any damage. Highly recommend Spartan Movers for your moving needs! Thank you!!

If there were more than five stars, that’s what they would get.Michele Staymates"I cannot say enough good things"
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Spartan Movers! From start to finish, they protected not only every piece of furniture that they loaded, but took extra care in making sure that during the move there was no damage done to stairwells or walls. They worked quickly, efficiently, and communicated with me the entire time, especially when we arrived at our destination. They brought every single box, bag, and piece of furniture into the home and put it where I wanted it. Prior to the move, they also came and did a pick up to take items to the dump! If there were more than five stars, that’s what they would get. If you want a seamless, professional, friendly, and reasonably priced move…call Spartan Movers!

The team was professional, helpful, and efficient.Laura Devinsky"Highly Recommend Spartan Movers"
What started as a joke from seeing the Spartan Movers sign on the side of the road, and then doing a little research and reading reviews, was totally worth it. The team was professional, helpful, and efficient. It was a rainy day for our move and they did their best to keep our belongings (and floors!) protected. We had 3 guys and 2 trucks. They worked great as a team to efficiently get things in and out of the truck, and disassembled and then reassembled pieces of furniture accordingly. Highly recommend!

The Spartan team arrived promptly at 8:00 AM as I’d requested.Kelvin Richardson"I highly recommend the Spartan team."
So many positives, where do I start… The Spartan team arrived promptly at 8:00 AM as I’d requested. The gentlemen movers were professional from start to finish, completing the move in one day vs. two as contemplated originally. The entire crew was respectable, hard working, diligent, and courteous, making sure all movables were placed as my fiancé and I requested, with no hint of concern for relocation as asked for. I highly recommend the Spartan team.

Spartan Movers has established an outstanding reputation in our community for their professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.Naod Michael"Spartan Movers Consistently Delivers Top-Notch Service"
Before diving into my review of Spartan Movers, I want to address a recent negative review from someone who has not used their services but expressed frustration over yard signs. While I understand that any advertising can sometimes cause annoyance, it’s important to look at the overall quality and reputation of a company before passing judgment. I haven’t personally used Spartan Movers for my moving needs, but I have heard nothing but phenomenal things about them from friends and family. Owned by a dear friend of mine, Spartan Movers has established an outstanding reputation in our community for their professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. From the first interaction to the final delivery, Spartan Movers consistently delivers top-notch service. They are known for their punctuality, careful handling of belongings, and their friendly, courteous staff. Every story I’ve heard speaks to their ability to make a typically stressful process smooth and hassle-free. What truly sets Spartan Movers apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They go above and beyond to ensure that each move is tailored to the specific needs of their clients, whether it’s a local relocation or a long-distance haul. Their transparent pricing and no-hidden-fees policy also provide peace of mind, knowing that there won’t be any surprises on moving day.

We used Spartan for their junk removal services. Everything about their service was exceptional from the moment Nick answered the phone for the initial call. Nick answered all my questions thoroughly. When it was appointment time, he gave me an ETA call for their arrival. When they arrived, they were professional, efficient, and quick. Their pricing is competitive as well. You will not go wrong with these guys.

I've moved a few times in the DMV and have used professional movers for just about every move. I came across Spartan Movers this time and decided to give them a try. Nick was super helpful and communicative as we set up the move. He was very accommodating as I worked through all the details of the move with him. On the day of the move, Nick, Edwin, and Edwin :) all showed up with an amazing attitude. They did an initial walkthrough and immediately got to work. One of my favorite aspects was that they were not only professional but they were also personable! It was a quick, fun, and efficient move. By far my best move yet!! Super grateful for Nick and his team. Would definitely use them again!!!

They worked with speed AND care. Nothing was damaged and I was so grateful for the peace of mind.E C"Nick and his team made my move a breeze."
Nick and his team made my move a breeze. From the initial quote, to week-of communications, and handling my most fragile possessions—I was continually impressed by their attention to detail, hustle, and professionalism. You can trust them to protect your most fragile items. They came prepared for everything, and professionally wrapped and disassembled furniture as needed. (Including wrapping my super heavy marble table top as pictured.) They worked with speed AND care, and maximized every last inch of the moving truck to ensure that everything arrived safely! Nothing was damaged and I was so grateful for the peace of mind. I cannot recommend Spartan Movers enough and will absolutely use them again. You can trust them to take the stress out of your move!

I was able to enjoy my moving process knowing all my things were taken good care of at a great price!!
